This update replaces a number of files in your Ontario Curriculum Unit Planner Official Version 3.0. It will not write over any of the work you have done in the Planner. You MUST have the Official Version 3.0 OCUP application already installed in order to run the 2005 Update.

The purpose of the update is threefold:

1. To provide new content – expectations and PDFs for the OSSLC course, Discovering the Workplace and Exploring the Workplace, and revised curriculum expectations and PDFs for Social Studies Grades 1-6, History and Geography Grades 7 and 8, Canadian and World Studies Grades 9 – 12 and Mathematics Grades 1 - 10. New Grade-by-Grade expectations PDFs with the revised curriculum for Social Studies Grades 1-6 and History and Geography Grades 7 and 8, and Mathematics Grades 1 – 8 are included. New achievement charts, Grade 11 exemplars, and updated Explanatory Notes/Glossary items reflect the new policy document content.
2. To fix some navigation issues in the curriculum browser for Religious Studies Grades 9 and 10 and some text format issues.
3. To create new scripts in the files to allow future updates via small import files over the internet.

If you do not update your Ontario Curriculum Unit Planner Official Version 3.0 with this update, you will not be able to import future updates to the curriculum required through the Sustaining Quality review process.
