Secondary Profiles

The complete list of secondary profiles are posted from the Ontario Curriculum Centre for download in print-ready PDF format for the educational community.

The profiles posted here are provided for download in Planner-editable format (by teachers using the Planner). You must have the Ontario Curriculum Unit Planner CD-ROM to use the Planner’s built-in Web Catalog and download functions (Official 2003 Planner or later) or download the profiles directly from this web site.

Other Profiles

An index of other profiles shared by Ontario school boards is under development.

These secondary profiles were developed by teachers and school boards to support the Ontario curriculum.

They have gone through a Ministry of Education review process, in collaboration with the Ontario Curriculum Centre.

Users of the Planner should import Profiles into the Planner by downloading the Web index file while running the Planner.

Click the Library button on the Main Menu and then click the Browse CD/Web Catalogue button.

Go to the Web Catalogue Button and click the Update Web Index button.

Any Profile can then be selected from the Index and downloaded directly into the Planner without the need to manually copy the compressed file to the user's machine, manually decompress the file and then Import it. All this is done automatically from within the Planner.

If you are unable to take advantage of this automatic import feature for some reason (Firewall or proxy server issues in your board), you may have to download the Profiles from the OCUP web site.
