Units: Elementary Curriculum Units Project (for the Official Version 3.0 Planner)

Units in this section have gone through a Ministry of Education review process, in collaboration with the Ontario Curriculum Centre. They are posted for download in two ways:

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD: In order to download the Planner .zip and .sit files and use them in your Planner, you must first run the Planner Updater 2005 CD-ROM to upgrade your Planner files with the new expectations. This CD-ROM is released and will arrive at schoolboards by the end of September 2005.

PDF versions of the units may still be be downloaded and viewed without the 2005 Update.

Tips for Downloading a Unit (in Acrobat PDF format)

If you simply click on the link to a PDF file, your web browser may open the PDF (potentially taking several minutes, depending on your bandwidth and the PDF file size) rather than downloading it. To avoid this, use the following process:

Macintosh: Click and hold the mouse button down on the PDF link until the context-sensitive menu appears. Choose the "Download Link to Disk" or "Save this link as ..." option from the list to save the PDF to your computer.

Windows PC: Click the right mouse button on the PDF link until the context-sensitive menu appears. Choose the "Save Link As..." option from the list to save the PDF to your computer.
